For over a century and a half, EDELRID, a global manufacturer of climbing ropes, mountaineering and work safety equipment, has been pushing the boundaries of innovation. From the heart of the Allgäu region in Germany, they’ve pioneered groundbreaking technologies, such as the kernmantle rope, and championed sustainable manufacturing practices.
More recently, EDELRID has made significant strides in the U.S. arborist and work safety market. Their commitment to providing top-tier, eco-conscious equipment has resonated with professionals who are seeking the best and safest equipment.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to collaborate with EDELRID to design striking large-format graphics showcasing their new and improved TREEREX II climbing harness set to launch in 2025. These graphics would be prominently displayed at trade shows, conventions, and expos all over the United States.
In November, I joined the EDELRID North America team at the TCI Expo in Baltimore, Maryland. This massive three-day event brings together thousands of arborists, tree care companies, and industry leaders. It was a whirlwind of activity, with attendees eager to discover the latest innovations and connect with like-minded professionals.
My role at the expo was to document the EDELRID booth—the dynamic team, the engaged attendees, and the cutting-edge products. It was a privilege to witness firsthand how EDELRID’s dedication to quality and sustainability was resonating with the industry.
Beyond documenting the event, I relished the chance to network with other brands and companies. It was a rare opportunity to see my designs in action and also get to connect with brands who could also utilize my services. Aside from business networking, it was awesome connecting with other fellow creatives and marketing professionals on a personal level.
The expo was a resounding success, with the EDELRID booth consistently buzzing with activity. The passion and expertise of the North America team were evident, and it was inspiring to be a part of their mission. I’m proud to continue my partnership with EDELRID and contribute to their ongoing legacy of innovation, sustainability, and safety.
